I've been meaning to send my congradulations for your Tony win but just now found a way to get it to you. Believe it or not (put this in the small world catagory) I was working as a project manager for Showman Fabricators when we did the Tony set the year you won. I actually watched you and the cast of Chaperone rehearse for that night's performance in the balcony. I was so excited for you when you won! What an achievement!!
Anyway, still keep in touch with Dan Doby and Rick Clodfelter for UNCG. I live in Bayville with my wife Lynne and our two kids (10 and 6). I still commute into the city everyday. I used to walk by the Marriot and see you in the posters on the street and think of those times in Greensboro.
I'm glad to see your finally getting the career you disserve! Stay busy!!
Your old schoolmate,

I have had the pleasure of seeing you perform in New York in 42nd Street a few years ago with my daughter and this past Sunday's matinee performance of Minsky's with my wife in LA. You are a tremendous talent with everything going for you - looks, voice, and a wealth of talent. Continued success and I'll see you soon - from an audience seat!
The best!

I am one of a number of British Police Officers who have visited New York each year since 9/11 to pay our respects to the victims, particularly those from the Emergency Services, a sombre pilgrimage that has made me many friends in the US. Aside from the memorials, memorable and poignant that they are, we also have had many fun times, and your show is high on that list. I hope you will return to the Broadway stage soon, and if it's around September, I'll be sure to have it on my to do/see list. Best Wishes, Steve Harvey

I took longer to graduate, hung out with the Drama majors for a few years longer, enjoying cheap student thesis productions and "great" Summer Rep at Parkway Playhouse. It's great to continue to watch Beth's fabulous success, but I won;t ever forget how absolutey mesmerizing she was as a 20-something graduate student with unbelieveable talent and no fear. What a great way for me to discover drama - Beth in "Gypsy". Thanks for all the great memories.

Want you to know I did a little joyous dance of my own in my living room when you won the Tony. Hope to make it NYC for the Book Expo this May. Perhaps I'll catch you in a new show by then. Stay warm!

I played both Annie and Phylis Dale. Lots of great memories. I also danced with Randy Skinner for the Kenley Players. I am the Theater director at my area High School Now and I am thinking of Directing 42nd street for my School. Also Jon Enstrom was our Dance Captain and he is doing a production in Thousand Oaks California. Write back if you'd like it would be fun to talk about the show. We had Mr. Reems and Carol Cook in our production TOO. Nancy

Just a quick hello. So excited to see that you've joined the cast. I graduated with you from Meredith College in 1977. My husband and I have tickets to see you in Young Frankenstein at the 8 PM show on September 13. We're excited to have a fall weekend in New York to see a show and catch the Yankees playing before they tear down the old stadium.
